Mr. Smith Goes To Washington Vintage US Lobby Card (1939) - ORIGINAL RELEASE

Two pinholes on image, one in top border. Some scuffing in upper left of inset image. Chip in upper right corner. Crease in lower right corner. Small tear on lower border towards the left. Tear repaired with tape from the back in upper right (with no residue bleed through. However, right above that is a tape residue looking stain. Small 1/4" tear on right border near upper corner. The card is noticeably yellowed with age (but, hey, it's over 80 years old!). Ink colors are still strong.

Lobby cards were distributed to theaters typically in sets of eight (though sometimes could contain more or even fewer). A complete set can typically include one title card and several scene cards (though later films would sometimes forgo a title card). The title card typically included the title of the film, the production company, the main actors, and director.
